Big Alums in attendence

I have seen Gerald Ford and Lamar Hunt at several basketball games this year. I don't recall seeing them around basketball that much the past couple of years. I am wondering if they are just becoming interested in the game or if they are observing a program that seems to not make it over the post season birth hump?

Actually, Lamar Hunt is one of the biggest hoops fans around. He has been a regular attendee at games, even on Saturday nights when the Chiefs have a Sunday afternoon game in KC.

As for Gerald Ford, it is nice to see him, mon.

Lamar Hunt even came out to the WAC tourney when it was in Vegas and I was living out there. Had a couple of nice chats with him, which, since I'm from KC as well as an SMU junkie, was great.
