Re: Hotel Palomar
FYI, I always stayed at the Lumen for the last few years. Nice place and so close to Blvd. Am trying the Palomar this first game for the first time since they had a special for $159.

Palomar is by far the best option in the general area of SMU - and if you can get a rate like that - I would certainly stay there over the other options listed. I like the free wireless at Kimpton hotels, along with the complimentary things like happy hour in the evenings (5:00?) and coffee in the mornings. They will charge you for parking though.
They completely rennovated the building and it is extremely nice. I stayed there prior to a game last year and there were a bunch of SMU Lettermen (for a reunion) hanging out at the bar the night before the game. Met some good people. I almost always stay there for Business - as the location is perfect.

I'm thinking the Dallas cougar population is dying out. Started with the demise of Martini Park. Is there a cougar reserve somewhere so we can at least go see one in an artificial natural habitat?smupony94 wrote:It was 2 years ago. Urban sprawl has forced all the cougars out to the 972.

In Arkansas that is the term we use for "big butt".
