Yeah that's called commonly accepted conversation slang, but keep being a wooden-personality tool.

Just giving what you give me back. So would that make you a wooden-personality tool also?

GOSFAGO,

Not meaning to confuse...to be succinct:

-Play nice...you still might get an invite to the Boulevard from one of the many generous patrons.

-Please understand that the overwhelming majority of folks that frequent Ponyfans are far harsher on things SMU (university/football/basketball/athletic program, et al) than you can possibly imagine as an interloper on a chat board. After 23 years of expectation ( sorry jtstang ) and frustration, it just doesn't stick.

-Games like SMU-SFA ( in my day, UTA ) are a great way for a regional school to play a mid-major conference opponent, get a paycheck, and usually walk out with a loss ( although not assured in any sense now ). Commenting on 'crack' alums, and the relative crime and violence near UP doesn't measure to the level of humor that some here have come to expect and exchange with fans of opponents ( ie referencing Aggie blunders with cheerleaders and swords, mascot hijinks with the Red Raider mascot, etc )...therein the STEP YOUR GAME UP comment...err on the side of creative comedy...finally,

-Our teams have virtually no history on the gridiron to speak of...to try and create buzz when there is little historic animosity or even relevance is a moot point. I appreciate your perseverance, but in reality the game will be between two teams and schools that have little in common save that one Saturday.

Enjoy the game...I will be the 'old' 6'4" non-cracked out alum roaming the Boulevard with the missus holding a can of diet Pepsi...hope to see you there.

If it makes you happy, you can think that.
