Something's wrong in the equipment room. Players are in mixed-up numbers again (sorry if I mix anyone up), and ... head coach June Jones is wearing jeans, instead of his trademark sweats. I'm betting he'll go change.

Players starting to emerge from tunnel.

Strength coach Vic Viloria throwing warm-up passes with RB Zach Line. Viloria throws a good spiral, but has the accuracy of ... well, a strength coach. (I can say that because he's a few hundred feet away... and he has a good sense of humor.)

Maybe they're working on Zach adjusting to where the ball is thrown?

Maybe, but he'll have to be Randy Moss to reach everything — Vic bounced a couple several feet in front of him, and then air-mailed one into the tunnel behind the north end zone. If he was aiming there, it would have been an impressive throw.

(Pretty sure I should avoid Vic for a while now...)

Szymanski just hit one 2 yards deep in the end zone ... with a sideways rotation. Not the prettiest wounded duck in the world, but sure would be hard for the return guy to field it.

New blocking drill for guys on kickoff return team: one guy takes off for the end zone (where there's a return guy taking off with a ball), followed by another player five yards behind. The first guy is a blocker, so he's basically retreating to his return man, turning around and blocking — with the second (opposing) guy just five yards behind him, the drill is designed to help the blocker turn and pick up the would-be tackler quickly.

DT Jesse Andrew just killed two birds with one stone, so to speak — he wrapped up his blocker in one arm and then wrangled in Bryan McCann with the other.

Same drill ... battle of RBs. Zach Line (tackler) ran through Ryan Moczygemba (blocker) to grab B.J. Lee.
