How goes the operation?

Postby SmooBoy » Thu Aug 20, 2009 1:49 pm

Wondering if we are on schedule to fill up Ford Sept 5th. Any updates from the 25 chosen ones?

I hope, SMU will need all the help they can get from the crowd to win this one.

You are not one of the chosen ones, but thanks anyway.

Man, with all the smack you are talking, you are going to have a lot of crow to eat when we beat you.

Then again, that's probably why you are doing the smack talk. Crow is an upgrade from your usual meals of rat meat and pine cones.

Nope. He'll just disappear. That's the glory of the internet. Remember all of the coaching search trolls that vanished once Jones was hired?

I talked to someone from the athletic dept the other night whosaid it was "close." Ultimately, I don't know if that means tickets sold or actual butts in seats. It would be really cool if this happens, and I would love nothing more than for the guys to run out of the tunnel to a full house. I know it would really fire them up. We have a chance to be 1-0 for the first time in a long time (since Kansas in 2000?).

Now we all have to hope the administration is prepared for it from a logistical standpoint. Will they have enough gameday personnel? Will they run out of concessions? Considering we've only had 30,000+ a handful of times, it's definitely a concern. It would be nice to have a pleasant gameday experience for once instead of a disaster, which, unfortunately, is the SMU way.

I expect the west side, student section, and most of the east side to be full. The north bowl and se top corner will be spotty at best.

For what it's worth, I was just part of a group getting 5 season tickets together in section 106. Must not be too full there yet if I can get 5 together.

Why anyone on this board takes the time to read a GOSFAGO post, let alone get sucked in and reply to his bait is beyond me.

Because the last time I replied to his idiotic posts with a truthful zinger, he disappeared for a few days.

Don't try to pretend that you aren't the same guy that had like 8 names, including "ProudSMUDad," that was on here at the beginning of the month.

He's on my foe list. I only read about 5% of his posts. Of course, that's probably a higher percentage than anyone else reads.
