I really hope you are right and Frazier stays at DE. "We will play man to man and we will pick you up at the airport." - Larry Brown

If you're referring to Igor Olshansky, then no. He's from the Ukraine.
Re: SMU: 6-8 Estonian moves up to second teamHonest questions: Can this mountain of a man move his feet well enough to get around 6'6" right tackles? Can he shed cut blocks from TEs, RBs, etc.? Certainly an intriguing prospect but would be surprised if he makes much of a contribution in year 1.
Re: SMU: 6-8 Estonian moves up to second teamIt is really hard to say if he will contribute or not. It is a unique situation with very few things to compare it with. It is no surprise that Reedfrawg falls on the "no" side since he is a TCU supporter. I would probably do the same if the guy played for them. I think he will contribute more than a little, but won't be C-USA player of the year either. Not this year anyway.
When will I start feeling stimulated??
Re: SMU: 6-8 Estonian moves up to second teamI feel fairly sure that Margus will probably make more than a few errors. But I feel equallty confident that at least a few times he will nail someone to rapturous applause.
Mustangs Abu!
Re: SMU: 6-8 Estonian moves up to second teamHunt will start this year and make a huge impact. Stallion is , as usual, being very conservative.

Re: SMU: 6-8 Estonian moves up to second team
I'm certainly interested to see this monster on the field...I have no idea if he can play or not. My main concern would be footwork and reading the plays, etc. I'm sure he is strong - guess we'll find out soon enough!
Re: SMU: 6-8 Estonian moves up to second teamI'm no expert, but I'd guess that the level of footwork required to be world class discus champion is far more intricate than anything he's having to learn on the football field. I'm not worried about his footwork. What remains to be seen is, whether or not he has the malicious intent necessary to be a football player. Not everybody has that, but I sure as hell hope he does
Re: SMU: 6-8 Estonian moves up to second teamI watched Margus on Saturday. I don't pretend to be an expert. I have to say I was not particularly impressed. I thought he was slow off the ball. His stance on the line drove me nuts. I just couldn't see how he could explode off the ball while being flat-footed; he is not on the balls of his feet at all.
At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

Is he a freshman (as far as football eligibility is concerned)?
Re: SMU: 6-8 Estonian moves up to second teamI think he is a RS-Freshman in terms of eligibility.

Re: SMU: 6-8 Estonian moves up to second teamI went to practice on Saturday and left feeling very unimpressed. His four point stance looked stiff and unbalanced (maybe a little unathletic). He was late coming off the ball and really didn't trail plays. I also didn't really see him use his strength to swim or hold up the right tackle.
Having said all or that, I'm willing to give a few concessions. I know his knee got banged up earlier in the week and he was wearing a brace for much of that time. I am willing to admit that it looked like he was favoring that knee during practice. When he jogged off to the sidelines, he would run with his head down studying and favoring that knee. With as much hype as we have written about him, this could not have been the great Margus Hunt playing at 100%. Right?
