Posting from my phone. Heard that Justin was on the bubble and Pride was saying it wasn't looking that great. Anyway, I hope he catches on somewhere, I think he can still contrivute. At least on special teams.

Bad day, indeed. I think Justin will catch on somewhere. He's proven that he can help on special teams. Unfortunately, things weren't looking good for him with the Cowboys all along. They are holding on to the hope that Barbie Carpenter can play (he can't). They also drafted numerous LB/special teams guys. We all know Justin will work his butt off to catch on somewhere else. At least there's plenty of time left in camp for other teams to take a look at him.

To be fair, I'm told Carpenter has had a fantastic camp (and more mediocre exhibition games). But the issue there also is that he has two more years left on a lucrative contract — Carp made the team before training camp started.

This decision is just another reason to hate that craptacular franchise and to reaffirm my vow never to darken the doors of jerry's shrine to himself in Arlington.

I did see this coming while watching all the games last season. He missed too many assignments on special teams last season (his man blocked that punt in OT vs. Arizona) and you can't do that for long if your sole reason for being on the roster is spec. teams.
