not a big fan of that music or the black and white film noir but I like how they tied SMU to Dallas. Still waiting for SMU to wake up and try to sell the Boulevard experience where real season and other tickets could be sold. That is the best thing SMU has to offer to the ticket buying public-the family entertainment experience. its so Dallas hip and cool.

I think it is awesome to see the way there is enthusiasm for the start of the season. A full house. A new song. And I think it is great that they made the focus the City of Dallas. We need to sell ourselves as a Dallas team.

you're right. and the Dallasizing of SMU's image needs to continue. We will not have arrived, however, until we have a prime time Saturday game wherein Brent Musberger refers to JJ as 'the sheriff of Dallas county" with some superlative references to Bubba's, purveyors of the finest fried chicken in the south. Or something to that effect.

expony18....I am bit behind the times....if every song on my i-pod was purchased from i-tunes...can I also add free downloaded songs to the same i-pod like you are suggesting I do with the SMU version of "For My City"?
