No way Mitchell plays like that again. We not only will stay with UAB, I'm not convinced we won't beat the Blazers. There were some issues that obviously need to be fixed, but we did do some things fairly well.

I dont consider it a victory. I did not cheer one time in the 2nd half for us. They dominated us the entire game. Thank god they had 7 turnovers! Look at the total yard comparisons... How many 3 and outs did we have?

we sort of backed into that win...lets hope BLM never plays like this or they'll lose by 60

We will take victories wherever we can but I think the defense really picked it up in the 4th quarter and if it was last year we would have lost. I think that the way they tackled and took away balls from the recievers hands with turnovers late in the game showed that they had the spirit and will to win to take the game away.....they DBacks didn't miss many opps when they had the chance to catch balls....

UAB looked good against Rice...QB Webb can hurt you running or throwing. Should be a big challenge for our defense. REALLY need to offense to produce a lot of points with some long sustained drives to have any chance next week. At least there won't be much of a hostile road crowd to deal with. Rice's side of Legion Field could not have had more than 200 people in the seats

It didn't look like there were many people at the game. The pictures they showed of the stands looked very empty.
However, UAB looked very strong against Rice. If our offense doesn't step it up and give the defense a little rest UAB will kill us. Overall, they looked to have a very fast well balanced team. On the other hand, Rice looked absolutely pathetic. Wish we were playing Rice next week instead of UAB.
