I wish all of our opponents luck AFTER we play them. Would love to see those guys win the Southland and represent well in the playoffs. I kept thinking that "if we have better athletes" we would eventually wear them down, but those two teams last night were pretty evenly matched.

if the laundry didn't tell you, not sure you would have known which was the Division I team last night. I kept thinking we would start to look like the superior team athletically in the second half, but never really did establish superiority.

SFA had a pretty decent team and they came to play. Not sure we weren't a little too over confident.

We had alot better talent, but when you pass like BLM did Saturday night and your are run & shoot team....with no running game like last year you loose...McNeel was the difference. If BLM was on like he was last year against Houston and Tulsa we would have won by 30+. The problem is BLM was so off last night that its hard not to have visions of 1-11 again....I sure hope its just a 1st game issue, but if not, JJ needs to give one of the other guys a shoot. If BLM throws like that against UAB, it will get ugly.

They had some really good skilled players and their punt rushing team was big and bad...they gave SMU blockers fits...seemed to be well coached except they didn't adjust as quickly as they should have to Mcneal in the 4th to our positive...they should compete well in their conference and wish them luck.

Ding ding ding...we have a winner! SMU just beat a 1aa team who gave up SIX turnovers and managed the clock horribly in the fourth quarter. You can spin it from now until next Saturday but the bottom line is no other team on the schedule will gift wrap a win.

The 'Vard was cool, when I wondered away from the alumn tent everyone was very friendly. The game was fun to watch, except for the constant static noise by the press box. This year's SFA team is night and day compared to the past couple of years. Good luck SMU, I hope yall go bowling this year.

FCS team rolls into Dallas...bear in mind, this is a team TCU played last season and beat by SIXTY POINTS -- a team the Frogs outgained 525-143. And SMU gets outgained by them by over 100 yards and this thread gets titled "SFA has a good football team."

LOL - you wouldn't know good football if it jumped up and bit your face off. Those two teams last night were equally horrific and the least bad team probably lost. Looking forward to October 3rd.
