I agree. That is why I said "Not to take anything away from a positive night.." But you have to admit watching a safety and a cornerback diving to tackle him from more than 10 yards away was kind of humorous.

PonyScott beat me to it, but yeah... in the presser McNeal said that winning was more important than getting the TD, but after Sanders stopped him, at the last second Sanders said go ahead and take it... and of course he did.

Illinois did the same thing against Minnesota in the mid-1990s after the Gophers had taken the lead. Illinois coach Lou Tepper admitted it to the media following the U's win. I understand the strategy. It just usually doesn't work.
