Let's face it...we don't have any depth at QB so will have to hope Bo continues to improve...or it's going to be another long season

The QB of the future is having to sit out this year.....JJ McDermott.

BLM had a bad night.
So did the receivers. The receivers dropped catch afer catch. OC Mustang was right on target.
Play selection is another issue. You call plays to put your players in successful situations to get them back on track. It wasn't happening early. It snowballed from there.
There is a lot of blame to go aroung. It was not all BLM.
And as for Braden Smith warming up. We were sitting right behind the bench. Braden Smith was throwing to number 11, Beasly, to help him start catching the ball before he hit the field again. Coach Jones doesn't believe in giving others a chance to play. He'll go with Bo until his arm falls off.

Jesus, settle down. Albert Pujols strikes out (occasionally) and Kobe Bryant has bad shooting nights once in a while. NO, I'm not putting Mitchell anywhere near the class of those guys, but EVERYONE has a bad game. Not some people — EVERYONE. It might be worth recalling that he also had some good games last year, and there is a reason a lot of folks were optimistic Mitchell will have a good year this season. Nobody is calling him the next Colt Brennan, but maybe the words of QBs coach Dan Morrison (whose track record indicates he knows a hell of a lot more than anyone on this board) should be read again:

"He has a better grasp of where things are, so his decisions are faster, and through all of that - and this is a good thing, actually - he still has things to learn, and he still has decisions to make more correctly than he's making them right now. He's still not as consistent with the ball coming out of his hand as he will become, so there's still room to grow. There's still times when the ball will come out and the ball will go to the feet of a receiver, or it will sail high, but he's starting to be able to understand why that happens."

Let the guy develop. He has talent. Support him as he leads our offense.

I really hope BLM does do better this next week as well as the wr's. If Bo goes high then he could put his wr's in a dangerous position if they have to jump up to get the ball with a safety make a beeline toward them.
