I thought TCU last year and Tech the year before had more people there. About like Baylor a few years ago if I had to guess. What was that, 27 or so?

Probably 25k-27k tops. Lots of empty seats at kickoff.

Plenty of room for about 15 SFA students to infiltrate around me on the home side, one with a big SFA flag. I thought flags weren't allowed in the stadium?

Fortunately the flag went away after they started waiving it near my head, and I let them know what would happen if they hit me with it or continue to block my view with it.

I chatted with my daughter this morning and asked her what she thought of the game?

She told me it was too hot so she went back to her Sorority!

SMU needs a culture change as she didn't miss the 'vard, just the game!

questioning ur parenting HB... i would have told her to turn around and start walking to the stadium.

and regarding the original question, regarless of the exact amount, it was a good showing considering the competition. i had fun

I also liked the fact they let the kids run around on the grassy knoll in the south end zone. My daughter and Pony in SA's two kids got over there around the half along with the zillions of other kids, ran around and had fun.

Finally, SMU got it right with just having the rent-a-cops have some fun as long as it didn't get out of hand.

I think the high number over there caused some seats to empty out.

Glad we had the turnout and if this thing isn't a trainwreck by Oct. 10, I would think the crowd would be decent.

We do count as people enter the stadium, right? Up to halftime the Blvd. folks haven't all entered yet, and after halftime the student body has gone somewhere to party without TABC around.
UNC better keep that Ram away from Peruna

One thing that might help attendance inside the stadium is to ban generators and satellites on the blvd during the games. Lots of people watching BYU-OU instead of watching SMU.

Better sound system. I was on the 45 yard line on the other side and the speakers kept cracking and for some odd reason classical music was playing the whole time and then some guy saying testing testing

looked like about 25k as they panned the crowd. I said when Ford was constructed that 25k would be a good looking crowd for us...and we really should be able to average that number once we field a quality team
