Re: Boulevard Shake-upThe no reentry policy is very easy to understand. First, it has been in effect at Ford for as long as I can remember (which is limited time due to my age). But the theory is, if you allow reentry, people will do exactly what you are wishing. They will go back to the Blvd., eat, drink, and hopefully return. If you cannot reenter, hopefully you will stay in the stadium and BUY CONCESSIONS, BUY TSHIRTS, BUY LITTLE FOOTBALLS, BUY, BUY, BUY, which will provide income. This is very common in many venues. I am not saying I support it, but I do believe this is the reason. In our case, a secondary factor may be the hope of keeping fans in the stadium for the 2nd half, but I believe it actually has the opposite effect.
All those who believe in psycho kinesis, raise my hand
Re: Boulevard Shake-upUntil the stadium is a really sold out--with actual people in the seats--the no reentry policy should be abolished. We need to provide incentives for people to be in the stadium, and not provide incentives to stay outside of the stadium.

Re: Boulevard Shake-upMexMustang..you get your "one question" with the Pres and you ask about the frat tents...cool.
Re: Boulevard Shake-up
Mex, we appreciate it We've never lost the tailgate.
Re: Boulevard Shake-upI also noticed a tall red-headed guy going out in handcuffs before halftime. He was in front of me going into the stadium from the BLVD and looked like he was having a good time. Especially when he reached down and grabbed a handful of caboose from the girl with him. If that had been my daughter they would have been taking me out in handcuffs.

Re: Boulevard Shake-up
if your daughter goes to smu, chances are that has been her at some point...
Re: Boulevard Shake-up
They didnt have to start arresting people at football games or in bars for that matter for me to see it as a huge waste of money You play to WIN the game!!!
Re: Boulevard Shake-upEvery tailgate, no matter what school, you always see good looking freshman girls being taken away in handcuffs nowadays. At chili fest in college station last year i pretty much spent the whole day looking for this since it is kind of entertaining. But its [deleted] nonetheless. I love how my 55 year old parents were told they had to get wristbands!
Re: Boulevard Shake-up
Ouch, I'm 55. UNC better keep that Ram away from Peruna
Re: Boulevard Shake-up
My daughter is a long time off from attending SMU. By the time she is old enough I will be an old coot. It will not matter if I spend the rest of my life behind bars for f*#&!ing somebody up! [deleted] Dang Sweet Perunatang!
Re: Boulevard Shake-up
Whenever a date would come to pick up my daughter for the first time, I would make it a point to be trimming the hedges with those big garden sheers. I'd smile and say now how late are you going to stay out and then chop off a nice sized limb. Funny, they usually got her home at the promised hour and she still speaks to me. UNC better keep that Ram away from Peruna
