Lunday is a better blocker. They are similar runners.

Re: Official Depth ChartI still don't get why it takes the NCAA over a month to do something that will take like 10 minutes.
Re: Official Depth ChartI was going to say the reason you might be seeing Line and Lunday as the 1st and 2nd RBs is that in 75% (or more) of the situations they're going to be a blocker and/or safety valve rather than the primary 'go-to' guy on a play. I think in this offense, the "starter" literally means whoever runs out there first, as I think there will be a revolving door at most of the skill positions.
So with respect to the RBs, I could see Line go through the season as the 'starter' and getting the bulk of the snaps, but see Butler and McNeal getting the bulk of the carries. "It's a couple hundred million dollars. I'm not losing sleep over it." -- David Miller
Re: Official Depth Chart
Good point but at the same time, we'd be pretty predictable to scout when Line is in the game and when Butler and/or McNeal are in the game. All of the backs have to be versatile enough to be blockers and ball carriers. And the better blockers Butler and McNeal become, the more their PT increases.
Re: Official Depth Chart
When you say there will be a revolving door at most of the skill positions, which ones do you mean? If there are 6 skill positions, I think there is potential for a revolving door at 2. I agree with your analysis of the RB rotation, and right slot might be a rotation until DJ takes over pretty much full time at some point. I do not see any of the other skill positions rotating a whole lot. Edit: originally typed 7 skill positions, not sure which sport I was thinking of
Re: Official Depth Chartalso, these RBs need to be physical when they block, catch or run as opposed to going through the motions. They will have more than adequate running lanes and open real estate in this offense.

Re: Official Depth ChartI don't think there is going to be much of a revolving door with the WRs. June has said repeatedly that he wants those first four guys to be out there pretty much at all times. I'd expect to see a little bit of Darius Johnson and Cole Loftin in certain situations. Maybe also Bradley Haynes for a jump ball or two.
Back off Warchild seriously.
Re: Official Depth ChartI am anxious to see Shawnbrey but I am delighted to see Zach Line get the start. His family and a bunch of others are treking in from Michigan to see the game. Glad they will get to see him in action.
