Penalties are still a concern. Thought we didn't have as many penalties, we still had too many and at key times in the game.

The flight back should be a dream for these kids and the net week's preparation should be very intense. This team now has a real chance of going 3-0 and placing themselves in a very real chance of a winning season.

As of now, Washington St is losing to Hawaii 14-0 in the 1st quarter. They are beatable, so let's hope we play 2 halves next week just like the 1st half today.

I agree, and in retrospect, our defense still needs to get better as well. Bending too much wil burn you.

SMU turnovers gave UAB a short drives - that doesn't help the defense. The offense needs to help the D out by keeping the ball, which they did in the first half. Not that I am complaining on the win.

FYI, lat 3-0 start was 1984. I was alive then.

I was 3 and probably wearing a UT jersey back then thanks to my dad. Going 3-0 would be great so that we can still have a chance at 6-6 against Marshall, Rice, and Tulane...we probably aren't winning any others.
