I just verified that ridiculous score. Is this the first time a college football team followed a loss with a 92 point shut-out win? This certainly legitimizes SMU's 2-0 record.

That's like beating up the disabled. Does NAIA even allow scholarships?

UT once beat the School of The Deaf by a similar score. No joke. Always thought it looked funny in their Record Book

A couple UT players transferred to TX College a few years ago after a pot incident. Surely, they aren't there anymore. Wow! That's a serious beatdown. I guess SFA got ridden hard for those six turnovers and allowing SMU to roar back in the fourth quarter.

SMU is off to a great start and will upset some teams along the way. A bowl is becoming more of a reality. One game at a time.

granted they were playing Texas College, but SFA just might be better than anyone has given them credit for. Hope the do well in the SLC. I saw where McNeese beat App State last night.

600 yards of offense and 92 points ... hmmmm. i think a high school team would have kept it closer, definitely 5A & 4A

Just saw this score on SportsCenterU (ESPNU)...what was hilarious was how the anchors all said they had never heard of it, and one of them said he was from Texas...they also pointed out that they had the SFA logo next to the score, but for Texas College, they just had the American Flag.

It is amazing how many Div 1 schools have lost or struggled against Div 1AA teams the last few years. Just last night two more BCS teams struggled. Maryland lost to James Madison ? and Florida State was behind some school called Jacksonville State in the fourth quarter and came back to win late.

Interesting note; I talked to someone who was at the game. He said the SFA 3rd string was in at the half, and for the last 7 minutes the refs stopped enforcing the play clock and just let massive time bleed off. At 2 minutes, they just stopped playing football and stood around until time ran out. I guess they were avoiding the humiliation of 100 points.

How horrible must Texas College be!?
