Sefko is a pro. And coincidentally, an SMU grad. He's been known to roam the Boulevard on weekends the Mavericks don't keep him tied down.

That's something Kate and the other DMN writers don't always do well - you see them stop blogging in the third quarter, when deadline approaches, which is understandable. But then they'll never bother to do a postgame wrap-up blog after they're finished writing for the print version. Why bother to follow along on the blog if they're just going to quit in the third quarter?

Hey we are getting better coverage from DMN and that fact that we have been on the front page not only on the sports page and the front page reflects that. A good point brought up by ex SMU player, Mike Richardson mentions that it is really a good idea to e-mail the writers at DMN thanking them for the coverage ( and also complaining making suggestions), and they will respond back quickly, but let them all know there ARE alot of SMU fans out there and we need the coverage..it helps for recruiting as well as for potential fans who become attendees at the games.----'[email protected]' is Kates email address and her copywriters and bosses should be copied as well to get maximum effect:
