If Tulsa knocked off OU, and UH knocked off Tech, I'd be in football heaven. If I could only choose one, it would be Tech losing. I really hate those guys.

I support USC getting those 3 votes. While Texas and Florida are scheduling easy wins, give credit to the team that puts Ohio State @ The Big Horseshoe on the schedule and wins. Top Ten teams and Top Ten programs who are in the national title race should not be playing sub division teams or low end non-bcs teams.

And won with a freshman quarterback.

Houston is for real and I would love to go to that game. I wonder what the over/under will be, 80?

you don't get points for winning with a freshman QB. I'm glad they won and have always loved the annual beatdowns of the Big 10 and ND. I know USC has perhaps the best talent or close to it but there is no way in hell that right now they would outduel Florida with Tebow at QB. Now maybe later in the year if he improves things might change but right now Florida would easily outscore USC. So USC should not have received those votes and you can be damn sure they came from Pac 10 Coaches.

Perhaps those voting think at this time that a win against number 7 Ohio State at Ohio State is a more impressive body of work than Florida playing Charleston Southern and Troy or Texas playing Louisiana Monroe of Wyoming.

It is pathetic that Florida and Texas have those games on their schedules. Maybe some coaches want to give credit to a team in the national title race that plays a tough out of conference schedule. It would be so much better for the game if we had more games between the power conferences early in the season and would certainly help straighten out the BCS nightmare. So I salute you coaches who voted for USC. And if the come from the Pac-10, Mack Brown, the master of lobbying for votes, can suck it

Texas and Florida don't exactly have cupcake OOC schedules after this. Texas still has to play UCF and UTEP and Florida has Florida international!
