How bad must Rice be?

They get schooled by UAB and we take a 28-7 lead at the half?

We had better win against them.

Rice has won and done well of late. Their players have tasted success and know what it takes to win. They will improve over the season.

It will not be the first time we have faced Rice and needed a win. I wouldn't count on Rice being as 'bad' in Nov as they appear at this point. We need the win against Rice, no doubt. But we need to improve as well through the season and get into a mindset of winning.

Rice isn't our main focus or concern for now, WSU is. Focus on WSU and take care of the business at hand.

Rice really had a good team last year but fortunately, they were decimated by graduation (and Thor's decision to leace early)

I am afraid that Rice may have had the "Perfect Storm" with Dillard, Clement and James Casey...I can easily see them drifting back to the doldrums..however, they can still be dangerous to us, especially considering we havent won down in Houston since the 80s, which included some pretty dreadful Rice teams.

At least we play them at home this year.
