I am not comfortable being the favorite at this point. But it is sure nice that the bookies have some faith in us.

Just an interesting tidbit...BLM was recruited heavily by Eastern Washington (Paul Wulff) before he left for Washington State.

Thanks -

I use to go to Seattle 3 or 4 times a year but have not been there recently. The "Wild Ginger" was always the place to see ,be seen and have great food. 1401 Third Ave. www.wildginger.net Great Pacific Rim food and fantastic atmosphere. Also any restaurant connected with the Anthony's Seafood Restaurant chain will be wonderful. Whereever you go, get a Dungeness Crab cocktail. Best crab in the world and it is fresh from the Puget Sound. Enjoy. Had planned on going but it did not work out.

I think I've read 4 different writers describe WSU lack of speed as "shocking" "abysmal" etc. I hope Aldrick Robinson's wheels are healthy

And let's get McNeal through to the front line for some long runs.

Good God! Do we need to be reminded we barely escaped Stephen F. Austin a week ago?? We are taking a very long plane trip to play football and this will be tough. Lets hope the players stay focused and not celebrate this win all week like Okie State after Georgia. We are getting better but lets keep it real here.

Other than flu shots, of course.

The weather forecast is for rain, so pack a raincoat.

Man, we don't need rain. Remember the Navy game last year. Our offense was terribly ineffective in that monsoon.

According to yahoo weather, Pullman is to be 74 and partly cloudy. Sounds like great football weather.

Based on history, we do not play well as a favorite. Remember 1997 vs. a winless TCU after we had won 5 in a row? And that's just one example. In the past 20 years I can't remember how many times we've showed a sign of life and then go out and crap the bed the next week.

Of the several monkeys we have on our back, that is one I would like to see us shed this week. But by no means should we be counting chickens.

But the real key will be between the ears. WSU isn't a great team and one hopes that SMU doesn't think wins over SFA and UAB equals a real show of strength. SFA isn't a D1-A team and UAB was predicted to be one of the worse teams in CUSA.

We have to continue improvement and be prepared for a team eager to win, with more depth than we have seen so far and players that play against higher caliber competition. We can win but we can't be overconfident or let down.

You are so right with your " between the ears" opinion.
This team has needed a major/positive change in attitude before you see major/positive changes in results. I hope the UAB game was the beginning of the attitude change. Let's see if they can take it to the next level.

As far as the game, eliminate the turnovers & big plays on D. If that happens I see
a 31-23 win.
