I think I'd stay away from "Old European Waffles." But that's just me.

Are you saying that..."that list is bunk"?
SMU's first president, Robert S. Hyer, selected Harvard Crimson and Yale Blue as SMU's colors to symbolize SMU's high academic standards. We are one of the few Universities to have school colors with real meaning...and we just blow them off.

There is no question that all SMU fans going to Pullman must eat at #8 "Hilltop Restaurant".
Just send 'da money.

Breakfast:
1) Breakfast Club, Moscow, Idaho (7 mile drive)
2) Old European, Pullman, Wa (Waffles B, Crepes A-, German Potato Pancakes, B+)
3) Tam's Place, Pullman, Wa
4) Denny's, Pullman, Wa

Hamburgers in Pullman:
1) Dupus Boomers (on campus)
2) Cougar Country
3) The Coug (on Colorado Avenue, real close to campus)
4) My Office Bar and Grill, Sport's Page, Vanhalla, The ZZU (all owner by same guy)

Mexican: (Mexican food sucks in Pullman aside from taco truck, Rancho is a C- and best in town)
1) La Casa Lopez, Moscow, Idaho
2) San Miguels, Moscow, Idaho
3) Patty's Kitchen, Moscow, Idaho

Fine Dining:($$$-break bank, $$-reasonable, $-left over money for beer)
1) Old Post Office Wine Cellar and Restaurant, Pullman, Wa (wine selection is good too) $$
2) The Red Door, Moscow, Idaho $$$ (very slow eating experience)
3) Sangria, Moscow, Idaho $$ (you get a lot for the dollar)
4) Swilly's, Pullman, Wa $$
5) Dupus Boomers, Pullman, Wa. (decent steaks and prime rib, also have Wagyu 'kobe style' beef) $$
6) Nectar, Moscow, Idaho $$$ (overated establishment)
6) in Moscow there is also a half-ass French restaurant $$$$
7) Hilltop, Pullman, Wa (blue blood hangout, food is very dissapointing) $$$$

Italian: (if you want take out pizza go with Pizza Pipeline or the Hut)
1) Tucci's, Moscow, Idaho
2) Gambino's, Moscow, Idaho
3) Sellas Pizza and Calzones, Pullman, Wa. (calzone and beer close to campus)
4) Smoky Mountain Pizzeria Grill, Moscow, Idaho. Decent all around
5) Basilio's, Pullman, Wa. Extremely dissapointing except for salads (which aren't special)

Asian
Chinese: (Chinese in Moscow is dreadful)
1) New Garden/Emerald Garden/Golden Teriyaki (owned by same family), Pullman
2) Authentic non-hong kong, non-american style: Minh's Bakery, Pullman, Wa. (ask for specials)

Korean/Japanese/Sushi: only thing worth trying in the area is Tokeo Seoul, Pullman, Wa. They have shabu shabu,

Thai:
1) Thai Ginger Restaurant & Bar, Pullman, Wa
2) Suchada's is ok if you only order curries. everything else, crap.
3) if you want to eat Thai in Moscow, prepare a last will and testament before the trip.
for those of you staying in Lewiston, Idaho with the team, hit up Thai Taste on 21st street (real good)

Bars:
Dupus Boomers on Campus has best selection of liquor and beers on tap in the Palouse
My Office and the Sportpage are good places.
If you are wearing opponent apparal in 'The Coug' in can, and will get rough.
Vanhalla and Mikes/Stubblefields are pits.

The best restaurant in terms of Fusion cuisine (East meets West) in without question, Sangria in Moscow. There prices are affordable, food is great. If you like lamb, the chops are A-, but the shank in A+.

Good grief, you know that you're out there when you need to go to Moscow Idaho for food.

I know a guy that went to Wash. St. He told me it's out in the middle of nowhere. I believe he said that the team will have to stay about an hour and a half away - no hotels in Pullman.

google "red door" and "mcallen" and let me know what comes up. Don't know why that popped into my head.

Anyway, for MidlandMustang, the team is staying at the Red Lion Inn Lewiston, ID. Never been to that one, but the one I went to in Durango, CO, was nice.

When I called the athletic dept. to get tickets for the game I was informed that there were only three or four "reasonable" hotels in Pullman. Think I'm going to just go ahead and drive back to Seattle :)
Back off Warchild seriously.

the Washington State SID offered up the Quality Inn as an option.

How in the world did these guys get into the PAC 10 back in the day?
