Glad to hear he will be graduating in December. That is an accomplishment and his future. Justin seemed like a nice young man and he has been through a lot, but I have serious doubts whether he ever plays football again. Justin could not even earn a starting position on a team that went 1-11 last year. I certainly did not hear of any other D1 schools anxious to see him transfer. I think his football career is over unless he could possibly try to make some arena league team.

Why do you drive on a parkway and park on a driveway?

You guys need to get a life ... away from piling on people when they are down. Willis has had to endure a hell of a lot more in his short life than most of you will ever have to deal with. So let it go and get on with other things. He made a decision to change directions in his life and I for one hope he has success ... for himself and his family.
SMU's first president, Robert S. Hyer, selected Harvard Crimson and Yale Blue as SMU's colors to symbolize SMU's high academic standards. We are one of the few Universities to have school colors with real meaning...and we just blow them off.

I for one appreciate what Willis did for our school and wish him nothing but the best. I am glad that he is going to get his degree first and then if he wants to play football and gets the opportunity than I hope he does well wherever it is.

Well, had he stayed on the team and not thrown a 3-year old tantrum (about not starting), he'd probably be starting week 3.

A cooler head would have realized that a 4WR team is inevitably going to have injuries...and now he's missed his opportunity.

I agree Justin Willis' football days are over, but the kid will have a degree
from SMU the rest of his life. I think he'll do fine in his life after football.
