completely agree and I'm not saying him having pseudo-security is a good thing. At some point you have to cut bait. I can see both sides in this to be honest. I don't hold Dohs first year against him, b/c he can't coach and never could. He's not just going to take another man's players and coach them up on short notice.
I'm not even that upset about horrible back to back years, provided the future looks bright. Two years is enough to turn the corner or show promise, if you're recruiting. I think we can get to 15 or 16 wins w/a few good bounces, but we need to see more on the trail. You can't be a bad bench coach, manage people poorly, turnover staff every year, and be an average recruiter. Doh was brought in to recruit, and that's how he saves his job long term.
