Have to agree with pretty much all of his points.

The pic of the blog writer makes him look like a bit like Jerry Seinfeld, but with horse teeth.

I really enjoyed reading that. Love the quick bio proclaiming himself as an unabashed fan.

Look, he is right. We shouldn't be favored in this game. Right now, everyone is just piling on them because they suck. They should still win. They are absolutely backed into a corner and we are standing in their way as they try to fight their way out. We are going to get their absolute best effort, that much is clear.

We should not win this game, but......
At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

I agree. Who in their right minds would make us 7 point favorites. Yes, Wazzu stinks, but they BCS stink. Did we beat Baylor when they stunk? No. Did we beat A&M when they finished near the bottom of the Big XII S? No. Did we beat TT when they got some new coach named Leach? No. Our last BCS win was over Kansas the day we opened Ford Stadium. So, please, let's beat a BCS team before you start favoring us.

Sure would be great to win, and we can win.

Wazzu will run, run, and run some more. Smash mouth fb with big guys up front. They did it last year against Hawaii and when they were down 35-6 last week they came out the second half and ran the ball. They opened the second half and kept the ball for 7 1/2 minutes on the opening drive of the third quarter. Fortunately we were way ahead. SMU can't score without the ball, so being ahead early is very important. Last week the Warriors were fortunate, 7 take aways, Alexander with a 72% completion rate, 600+ total offense, and lots of yards after catch. WSU second and third tier defense is slow. Lots of open spaces for the slots and wrs, got to execute and Bo got to be accurate, otherwise it could be a long day for SMU offense on the sidelines as WSU runs the ball on nearly every play.

His analysis sounded on point to me. I have observed over the years that the bookies are usually wrong when they pick SMU as the favorite. I would prefer we were not the favorite in this case. I think in the past our teams have played their best when coming from behind or when they are the underdog. But, that is history and I am now following June Jones lead. I expect us to win.
