What a terrible call on the roughing penalty as he was pushed into the NC QB....but EC should have gone for the touchdown when they were down there and not kicked a FG.....they had nothing to lose...

And no, ECU should have kicked the field goal. Had they not scored the TD the game was over. They needed to make it a 1 score game. What they needed was a better 3rd down play.

If the roughing wasn't called or the flag was picked up then NC would have been 3rd down with 12 yards to go and would have kicked a FG to go up by 10 anyway if they didnt make the 1st down..EC just never would have made it...too bad for them..
