We are ragging on a guy who is an average QB at best-so we should be happy with our start. Yes I would love to have a stud back there but that isn't the case-none of those guys are top level talent except possibly Padron-possibly. That said you have to wonder if Smith loses this game- we won't know but I bet he's a lot tougher mentally than BLM is and that should count for something-right JJ?

BLM has looked good when he has had time to throw. He's made bad decisions when under pressure. How unusual. I didn't get to see his bad plays tonight but would guess that pattern held true. I seem to recall the announcers talking about his being pressured on a couple of those picks tonight. Can't comment on his accuracy.

Today's game is history.

Remains to be seen what the rest of the year will bring, but I have to say I certainly didn't expect to start these 1st 3 games with 2 wins. It's actually what I'd hoped for in order to have any chance at improving over last year.

I'm assuming we lose our next 5 games and I honestly felt that if we had started this season 1-7, we might not improve on last year's 1-11 and all momentum JJ has created could be lost.

Despite this very disappointing loss, this program is improving.
