let's hope they are not the worst team we will play this year. UAB looked horrible today but they whipped Rice pretty easily to open their season.

this was a disappointing loss for sure, but CUSA really stinks. Might be the worst conference in the country...or at least we have some of the worst teams in the country, so we still have some winnable games.

Nothing compares to the Suck Belt. Yes, Memphis, a bottom-tier CUSA team, lost to MTSU, and UAB, another bottom-tier CUSA team, lost to Troy, but those are probably the best two teams in the Belt this year.

So what? It does not matter who else won or lost today. All that matters is that SMU gave up a 17 point lead and lost a game they had in the bag. This was a soul-sucking loss to a really awful team.

The season is over. This team is DONE. You don't lose a game like this and win many others in a season.

Just as not running the ball on 3rd and 2 late in the game is a victim of "playing our offense", your thread was downed due to "playing our board offense"... maybe if we would have just stuck to your thread the ponies might have given it to Shawnbrey instead.
