Re: Just Say No the TCU Game!!!!!!!!Come on man!! We fill up your stadium, the least you can do is bring a Colorado State sized crowd!!
Re: Just Say No the TCU Game!!!!!!!!
maybe a Wyoming crowd?
Re: Just Say No the TCU Game!!!!!!!!
I'd have said Wyoming if they still charged to cross the turnpike. But since it's free now...
Re: Just Say No the TCU Game!!!!!!!!
having witnessed the game, this had nothing to do with coaching adjustments. Bo made bad decisions and worse throws. It's that simple. #NewLobCity
Re: Just Say No the TCU Game!!!!!!!!
Offenses and defenses routinely save certain formations, plays, alignments and so forth till the second half. In a 10 point ballgame there is no need for WSU to tip its hand and show 2nd half defenses during the first half. Often the scheme can be a different way to disguise coverages or a new coverage not previously seen. By not showing that scheme in the first half, an opponent can use it before a halftime adjustment can be made. Our opponents aren't stupid and their coaches have a clue as to our tendencies on offense (based on down, distance and area of the field). Reed used this knowledge to drop Webb for a loss on UAB's 2 point conversion try. Reed knew the formation and UAB's tendencies out of that formation. The opponents coaches know our tendencies and can make adjustments as needed. And if one wants to have a certain defense against a certain play, formation, situation, it is usually when a big stop is needed. And big stops are needed after long drives. It makes sense that WSU would save its 'tricks' on defense after we make long drives and are threatening to score. If WSU does it early in the drive, our coaches upstairs see it and hopefully make adjustments during the drive. Thus, WSU doesn't want to show thing s too early. If Bo was such a foul-up, he would be making bad decisions the entire game. Thus far it has been the second half. One can't convince me that Bo has a Dr. Pepper at the half and all of a sudden he becomes a blithering idiot. Something else is going on. And bad decisions tend to follow when a new defense or a disguise of coverages works.
Our deep seated attitude problemsJJ said after winning two games that the success had been delayed because of the deep seated morale problems of a team that has been a chronic loser. Those problems are here again. One loss and the QB gets thrown under the bus. The 2 intercepts for TD's were horrible, yet the game could have been won if we don't have a pass interference call on a critical play as the games is ending. The intercept in OT was fatal of course. So I, too, have an attitude problem because we can't handle disappointments anymore.

Re: Just Say No the TCU Game!!!!!!!!This post is ridiculous......what kind of fans do we have? We blew a game, we have blown so many others, and there were probably be a few more difficult losses. No one expected us to be 2-1 right now.
Is both BLM on my punch on site list? For now, yes. Does JJ tick me off? Yes. Will I be at the TCU game? YES. At the very least, think of all the tail that will be there? Do we have Richard Simmons clones for our fan base? Possibly.
Re: Just Say No the TCU Game!!!!!!!!All of you that say "boycott" like dryice and star wars kid are total losers and might as well just take a hike.
Quit crying and either be a fan or don't - don't sit and say you're a fan and then tell people to stay away from the games. People like YOU are what is wrong with SMU football and why this team has struggled for years to have fans go to (and stay at) the games. SMU, or any other school for that matter, doesn't need fans like you. I get pissed off too, I say this or that, but I'm right there week after week pulling for the Mustangs. You suck. Period.
Re: Just Say No the TCU Game!!!!!!!!Don't give up when we are so close, especially since we have been waiting so long! TCU is good but they have some holes to fill. This is the time to really come out and support the team. Look how young the two-deep is going into the season. The coaches are still learning what the young players can and can't do but I see big strides since the first game except for the turnovers. That is a fixable problem while just getting out-coached or being out-muscled is not.

Re: Just Say No the TCU Game!!!!!!!!BUT some of these long suffering fans have faced bitter disappointment since at least circa 2003 or 2002.

Re: Just Say No the TCU Game!!!!!!!!I don’t want anything to do with that club.
Re: Just Say No the TCU Game!!!!!!!!Hey we were all mad and dissappointed after the loss but in two weeks we will all be lathered up for a chance at the Frogs...the SMU players all look to this game and will play above their head as they have a tendency to do in these games....I am bummed but will go to cheer them on...we have to show those TCU fans we are persistant......heck with those toads....and stay the whole game students! This really is a better more athletic team than the SMU team we had several years ago that won AND we have two (222222222) weeks to prepare for their schemes!
