Does McNeal have a fumble problem?

Postby George S. Patton » Sun Sep 20, 2009 6:39 pm

I'm not dogpiling here on the wave of bad karma running through the program, but I believe he's fumbled in each of the last two games including yesterday.

Very talented back, and we are definitely better with him. Goes without saying. But I'm wondering if those who have watched all three games live if they thinking the same thing. You would hope that these next two weeks get the problem corrected pretty quickly because TCU is going to bring the pain to him.

BTW, I am not making any comments regarding the Washington State game because I was kind of tracking it via ESPN gametracker and was busy doing some things in Minnesota yesterday regarding my dad. So the game wasn't really in my focus.

well, if he did, and he did it 4 times in a game, and two were returned for TDs and one killed a drive...do you think we'd see Zach Line come in, if for a series or two?

Zach Line and Braden Smith have both scored touchdowns this season.

From what I understand the two knocks on him that got him in Shannon's doghouse at Miami were fumbling and questionable work habits. It sounds like he's got the questionable work habits thing soundly beat, let's hope for the same on the fumbles.

If I remember from the tracker, didn't he fumble on our opening possession of the second half and kill a drive in Washington State territory?

He did not fumble in either of the two first games. Line and Smith fumbled against UAB. There was no fumbles against SFA.
