"I made one bad read the entire game"

Oh really?

Jesus, seeing his performance in person was bad enough. I feel worse listening to this interview. Bo doesn't have the decision making ability for this offense. Give me the QB who will hit the open WR over a QB with an arm?!?

"Washington State played a great game."

What a ridiculous comment, WSU was awful! Very seldom when one guy can lose a game, but BO lost this one...

I hate Bo. I feel like he's not that smart of a guy and a poor decision maker. We should give Braden a shot.

Wow after listning to that Im even more disgusted with the loss. Those 4-5 plays where his mind "got lazy" accounted for more points than the Wash. St. offense. And the only good game I saw out of Wazzu was when they were running by BLM for 6 on two different occasions. We need to start taking up a collection to fund the removal of that ridiculous "gunslinger" (haha) tattoo or JJ should have him cover it up until he shows up as the gunslinger on the field
You play to WIN the game!!!

Actually, as strange as it sounds on the surface, I feel better about BLM's attitude toward this. Specifically, he isn't downtrodden. He doesn't shoulder the institutional history of the last 20 years or so. He feels badly that they lost...and feels badly that he made some bad throws, but he doesn't have the mindset of "here we go again." That makes me feel a little better about him, even if I don't like the outcome of this game at all.

His comment about the read doesn't sound clueless to me. He said that a pass sailed on him, and he said that he threw one off his back foot. If that is the case, and it wasn't a read, then something at the receiver's end may have been off.

I dunno whether my take is right or not...I've been wrong before, but I'll take the kid at his word (because I don't really have another option at this point). However, he is especially right about one thing, regardless of whether I believe his schtick or not: they can not sit on any lead...they can't get "mentally lazy" or take plays off. They must go for the jugular every single play, whether they are down 5 or up 50.

Mental toughness is my main concern with Bo.

Go stangs, hope the team learns much from the defeat and comes out swinging against TCU.

I believe one bad read. That means he made three throws he knew he shouldn't have in the first place. All because his "mind got lazy" (his words, not mine).

BLM has the tools to be a good QB, but he's got to concentrate and make the smart play, especially when we have the lead. He cannot allow his mind to be lazy until the game is over.
