That street is no longer Yale...it is now SMU Blvd.
SMU's first president, Robert S. Hyer, selected Harvard Crimson and Yale Blue as SMU's colors to symbolize SMU's high academic standards. We are one of the few Universities to have school colors with real meaning...and we just blow them off.

On the east side of Central, I believe it is still Yale.

No, it has been changed to SMU Blvd on that side within the past few months.

I can attest to that by missing my turn onto Yale off of Greenville at the SFA game. I knew wanted to turn on Yale so breezed right on by SMU Blvd.
