Tex-Mex recommendation

Postby ponyte » Wed Sep 23, 2009 7:30 am

I need some advise once again. I will be in Dallas Thursday night. Does anyone have good recommendation for a Tex-Mex inthe Irving, DFW airport Las Colinas area? Thanks.

Esparza's in Grapevine is pretty good. Might be too far out of your way, though.

its a combination of Tex-Mex and Salvadorian cuisine...

they have most of their menu as Tex-Mex but they have a decent selection of Salvadorian dishes

I go to Mi Cocina for one reason and one reason only: Mambo Taxi. 1 of those=12 pack.

MiCo's food is more mex-mex than Tex Mex.

I miss Don Pablo's. At least they have a couple in Indianapolis. The irony is, as I type this, I am sitting oh...15 minutes from the mexican border.

Pappacito's isnt bad, bad I always miss the exit just after the High Five.

Mico Rodriguez no longer owns Mi Cocina - he stepped down as CEO last summer and his partners bought him out. The new CEO came over from Cheddar's. Won't be suprised if quality starts to decline.
