Re: No need to play the gameI predict that McNeil will NOT rush for 17 yards on 19 attempts (they are not THAT good) and that BLM will NOT throw 1.6 INTs (I guess over on that one!)

Re: No need to play the gameprobably not but they did hold us to negative yards rushing last year. I say we should shoot for about 75 yards rushing.

Re: No need to play the gameThe goal is 125 yards and if we hit it, great......but Shawnbrey was originally recruited by TCU and he COULD have gone back there after Miami and would have been close enough to his Mom if need be, but he chose SMU and that is a WIN in itself......think about it...this guy is good enough to play on Sundays.............
Re: No need to play the gameIts not McNeil that's the problem. The offensive line that you guys love to compliment all the time is going to be dominated this week just like they were dominated last year

Re: No need to play the game
So true, but they oddly played really well against Texas Tech. the same year..despite a HUGE size disparity. I hope they look at that film as well.
Re: No need to play the gameThe Ponies fans will see a big improvement over last year's OL play. McKnight worked with a lot of freshmen and sophomores learning the two point stance, after a years experience and the addition of Adrian Klemm as OL coach and Mcknight assisting him, look for a much improved OL play. Execute the RNS, win the turn over battle, and Bo doesn't throw an INT, a win is within grasp.
Re: No need to play the gamehappened to be in the car the other night and listened to a bit of Gary Fattersons radio show. He talked about Mcneil being a nice runner that they wanted out of high school but when he wanted to transfer back to tcu they were full at running back and turned him away so he went to smu. If thats not true as you are suggesting, somebody needs to tell McNeil that Fat Pat was dissing him publicly on the radio this week and to run all over his fat arse tonight.
Re: No need to play the game
Ahhh...That Crappy University must have its own WDNWHA committee and Fatterson must be the chair. Geaux MUSTANGS! Geaux Tigers!
Re: No need to play the gameWhat the hell is SMETH?
Re: No need to play the gameIts probably true-TCU signed something like 5 outstanding RBs last year including a Big Time Transfer(Bo's High School Teammate Aundre Dean who transferred back from UCLA). 2 Four Stars, 3 Three stars including Dwight Smith who should have been 4 stars as 4A Player of the Year. Smith though hasn't qualified yet I don't think and I'm not exactly sure about his status. He had some unique high school transfer issues that may or may not be cleared up at Prep School or JUCO. ,

Re: No need to play the gameDamn they are stacked at RB sounds like....
Re: No need to play the gameYou can have McNiel. We've got about 4 RBs on our roster who are better than him. You guys will have positive rushing yards this year. Maybe, 16 carries for 3 yards or something like that.
Re: No need to play the game
Well why did Patterson say they offered McNeal a scholarship to try and get him to transfer to TCU? Quotes regarding the 2010 class:
