speaking of, where is the Noid costume? Displayed proudly in Heritage Hall I assume. If not, where the hell do you think it is? Maybe Dr. Turner kept it and dresses up for his wife on weekends.

Anybody got a pic of this thing? I assume we're not talking about the black Peruna mascot we have now, are we?

no, picture the Noid from the old domino's commercials, only make him bigger and dress him in blue. It was an 'additional' mascot for about a year, if that.
The donkey's name is Kiki.

On a side note, anybody need a patent attorney?

Put some shoulder pads on this and an SMU logo and you have the SMU Noid....actually became quite hilarious, he would run on the field to a chorus of boos, fire the T-shirt cannon a couple of times, then leave to even louder boos...he didn't even stay in sight...

New costumed mascot - Mustang Maniac/Noid

New Logo - remember the arena ball jumping horse logo the last year of Copeland?

Looping pony ears around your head after Varsity, stolen from Texas Tech
Of course, must include the new gelding mascot, Oxymoron.

Anyone care to add?

Anyone know what he killed at this last place of employment?

Perhaps they need to bring the shirtless kid back from the basketball games of the Sasser era (he would run on the court and do the sprinkler and dance around). Was probably 10 at the time - he must be about 20 by now and a member of ATO or SAE.

Really!?! Alumni didn't always lasso the number of years they attended over their heads? Wow, I feel duped.

This was not under Turner but anyone remember the Roughneck costumes in the 89-90 season? They wore dusters and cowboy hats like Cougar High guys. It was awful. Anyone remember the name?

Maybe we can start a tradition of fans that wear S.M.U. shirts to games and stand

and cheer and not whine all the time about everything.

BIGHORSE,

Why do you always whine about people who whine?

Just asking.

Pigskin Revue got cancelled because the SMU community no longer supports it by showing up. It's lost money to the point that the band's very limited budget simply can't afford to put it on anymore. Plus it must be really demoralizing for the band students playing to a mostly empty auditorium.

Don Hopkins had to choose between continuing to put on a money losing show or putting band members on the field.

It's really a gelding? Ouch.

So SMU's mascot choices are between a Shetland sheepdog and a castrated stallion.

Figures.
