Really strange call when SMU returned apparent fumble to the 1. He should have run the ball down our gut the entire second half.

If SMU fans want to talk about an opponents coach it's their business, I did see you at the game by yourself, hope you can make some road trips this year.

It obviously not TCU's superbowl, cause they cannot even fill their stands. Top ten and the stadium is a quarter empty.

Wah! Wah! TCU tried to score running the ball with second string players late in the call without calling time-outs in a season they have a shot at a BCS bid. Take your Participant Ribbon and Trophy and stop crying. Gatorade and munchies in the parking lot.

I really don't think what he said was all that bad. I don't know how excited SMU players were for that game, but I think the rest of the quote was certainly pretty accurate. Anyways, good game. You gave us a scare the 1st half and your defense was impressive in the turnover category. Good luck until we meet next year.

They didn't score at the end but it wasn't for lack of effort, no they didn't call timeout to continue their drive but they weren't exactly taking knees either. I don't give GP any credit for "sportsmanship," but I'm not going to say that he is as bad as Leach either. Leach would have called timeout and thrown a few passes into the endzone.[/quote]

Agreed and true for Leach as he has no qualms about running up the score...GP could have done it for sure...

Do have a point to make? Pro or Con. RESOLVED Did Gary Patterson run up the score? Or are you just going to use this stupid comment another 20 times each week. My opinion is that it is embarrassing to SMU to have fans that make these claims based on the circumstances in this game.

Just to clarify.... TCU had the exact same amount of time to prepare for this game that SMU did. How Patterson decides to use his practice days last spring and this fall is up to him. But using that as an excuse for poor preparation and motivation is both classless and weak.

Hey smart guy, we aren't top ten, undefeated or angling to get into the BCS. I know how you love TCU, but when we get to be a top ten, I imagine we will fill the stadium against our cross town rival. I am sure the big 12 is dying to have a team join their conference who can't put buts in the seats. Go back to talking about the horse, it is the only thing you are qualified to discuss.
