Running out of gas or not, from the first snap to me it appears that Bo plays scared. As with a sense of impending doom. Or that could just be from my perspective as a Mustang fan.

I agree that BLM runs out of both mental and physical energy in the 3d quarter. I commented to other Pony fans attending the WSU game that he seemed to have a good even pace, patience and workmanship like approach to the game during the first half and during the first 2 series of the 3d quarter. Suddenly, there was panic, bad reads, lack of focus and he unraveled. It seems like he is either running out of physical energy due to his illness and/or the mental and physical preparation for the games coupled with game stress causes him to totally lose focus in the 3d quarter at which time the mistakes start happening.

I'm a little torn on BLM. Without a doubt, he has been very inconsistent this year. The interceptions are not good and he pretty much single-handedly blew the Wash. State game. He has proven to be somewhat inaccurate and its frustrating to watch him repeatedly overthrow passes to wide-open receivers. That being said, I've also heard things that indicate he's been battling injuries and illness all year. Not sure if the 20 lb of weight loss in 2 weeks is true. . .but if it is, that's nothing to sneeze at and indicates a fairly serious health problem. Bottom line is that I'm pretty frustrated with the QB play this year, but I don't just want to write BLM off as a clown if in fact there is something more serious going on. Sure wish we had some viable options at the position.

I know I should know this, but I have been in Germany, and have been unable to see video of any of the games since SFA (which I attended).

re: Bo running out of gas

Does June still have him running to the sideline after each and every play for the play call? 56 offensive plays, roughly 50 yards per play (25 each way) adds up to some significant running (especially for a player who may be quite a bit less than 100% with illness and weight loss)

I'm not a Bo apologist (I sincerely wish we had a better option, because he's not the answer at QB), but if this is still happening, it doesn't seem June is altering the plan even a little bit for an athlete who may be a bit limited at the current time.

Still the same - He came to the sideline after each play as far as I could tell.
