how was blm looking the last 4 games of last season? was he starting to gel? I thought I remember thinking he was playing better, but that could have been wishful thinking. Obviously he hasn't started off the way anyone wanted but if he did play better towards the end of the year I still have hope. Sloppy game against SFA & uab, lost the game against wsu, and then got beat by a deeper more talented tcu team. We are still 2-2, which is better than most thought we would be this summer. If he did look better towards the end of last year maybe that happens again and with a better d we win four more games and go bowling.

He didn't play well, but almost everyone wrote it off due to the fact that he was playing hurt.
BLM threw 23 picks last year, as follows: @ Rice: 3 Texas State: 0 (our only win, and coincidentally 1 of two games where he didn't throw any INTs) @ TTech: 5 TCU: 2 @ Tulane: 2 @UCF: 3 Tulsa: 1 Houston: 2 @Navy: 1 Memphis: 0 @UTEP: 2 Southern Miss: 2

Does anyone know the ratio of first half interceptions vs. second half interceptions from the above? And this year as well....its obviuosly worse this year but maybe just maybe it's because he has really been weak from all the illness..just hoping he gathers strength this week and has staying power against ECU

If he is as sick as reported, then Jones should have had the good sense not to play him. Period.

2008 Bo INTs by Quarter: 1st (5) 2nd (6) 3rd (6) 4th (6) 2008 Bo INTs by Half: 1st (11) 2nd (12)
Keep in mind that 4th quarter INTs also include desperation drives, etc.

That makes sense as BLM had his pics early in the game in the early part of the year ( when he was thrown to the wolves) and the pics came later in the game as he played more...and this year the trending is the same.......
