The Southern Miss. running back is also carrying and injury and the big wr is still not back to his best.
The season could go pear shaped for them now.

First, do we all agree that on a rainy day, we're toast? Navy last year, TCU this year, we didn't hold onto the ball and BLM can't hit the broad side of a barn with a wet ball and wind. So, our first step is to pray and hope for calm and dry games. Second, I think that every team remaining on our schedule has warts: ECU, UH, UTEP, Tulsa, Navy, Marshall, Tulane and Rice. ECU looked bad against Marshall. Tulane barely beat Army of several embarrassing losses. Rice has started slow. Tulsa got throttled by OU who is not proving to be anything special this year. UH lgave up 58 points to UTEP. Marshall has not been a world beater, but are tough at home. Navy has looked inconsistent this year and they will not be up for us like they were up for Air Force. Third, we are not world beaters either. So, every game from here on out is winnable if we play a complete 60 minute game with minimal turnovers. We haven't done that yet. If we do that we can win all eight games, if we don't we could lose all eight games.
UNC better keep that Ram away from Peruna

I agree with those that say every game is winnable. Likewise, every game we can loose. I know, that sounds sophomoric. What I mean is that there is not a team on this schedule we should fear and no team we should take lightly. It will be great if we can come through October with one win and then win out in November. Weather and injuries will have a major influence on what happens.

I agree with this. Also, it is time to back our QB. He is basically all we have this season. If we have the one from the first half of UAB and WSt then we will get where we want to be.

bottom line is that we are 2-2. Better than I expected to be at this point. And even better, we are still UNDEFEATED in CUSA play. Bring on ECU!

Where do we get 4 more wins...why is this even a question, people? ECU will unfortunately be a loss, and the loss will be definitely be Peruna's fault, as has been every SMU loss since 1986. But then we're gonna get the big horsey! And every game thereafter will be a W, due to our players' sudden-found mascot-induced self-esteem explosion, its gonna be great

How true. Each of our boys will be virile and confident once he is not simply "hung like a pony" anymore....
