Re: Dalton "No Fumble" CallWell, I didn't see it nor listen to the broadcast, but I think it was clearly a fumble!
![]() Long live Inez Perez!
Re: Dalton "No Fumble" CallWe were so close but yet so far........the overturned fumble recovery down to the 2(was it irrefutable evidence to be overturned), the dropped interception in the flat for a td, not punting and kicking to the MWC preseason all conf special teams player of the year(Kerley). I say we have a good chance at a victory with those considerations. Sometimes, it is not only the players who have to learn to win but the coaches too! WE are so close to turning the corner. Keep fighting guys!
Re: Dalton "No Fumble" CallYou can't just count the what-ifs on one side of the field. TCU could have scored 21 more points at the very least playing that game. When you really analyze the game TCU dominated the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball. Held SMU to negative 16 yards rushing and accounted for a healthy 420 or so yards offense in poor conditions. SMU had zero consistency (9 First Downs and Mitchell was 6-24 after starting strong) and basically finessed what few plays it did make. TCU was the much better team in just about every phase of the game except x-tra points. That's the game I saw in a nutshell.
"With a quarter of a tank of gas, we can get everything we need right here in DFW." -SMU Head Coach Chad Morris
When momentum starts rolling downhill in recruiting-WATCH OUT.
Re: Dalton "No Fumble" CallReal reason for my post was to see who the crew was. Thanks for info. on no more CUSA crews. God knows I have witnessed some horrible calls both for us and against us from the CUSA gang.
Re: Dalton "No Fumble" Call
Unfortunately, I agree. He was subject to alot of inappropriate language at our tailgates at half and after. Terrible game for him. I think he is better than BLM though. Certainly more versatile. I can't believe June has such a crush on BLM. It is Dan and Cody Hawkins like. Is BLM perhaps a June Jones fun baby? Might investigate.
Re: Dalton "No Fumble" Call8 minutes. The officials took 8 minutes to get play restarted after the initial call.
That's ridiculous. Derail the Frogs!
Re: Dalton "No Fumble" CallBLM is the product of no talent in the stable...
I and Kevin Craft prob wish he was at SMU right now instead of 2nd string at UCLA
Re: Dalton "No Fumble" CallFrom the video I saw, it was a very close call and it was a game changer. I think the refs were trying to make sure there was not irrefutable video evidence that it was a fumble so that they wouldn't be on College Football tonight lowlights reel.
UNC better keep that Ram away from Peruna
Re: Dalton "No Fumble" CallThe refs missed it. The ruling on the field was a fumble so the replay video had to be clearcut that he was down and the ball was still in his possession. There was not one camera angle that showed both and therefore overule the call on the field. If the ref had called the play down, I would make the same argument that he was down due to the video.
Re: Dalton "No Fumble" CallI had never seen June Jones as angry as he was at the refs after that call. He went out to the middle of the field and lectured the ref like a schoolteacher lectures a bully.
Re: Dalton "No Fumble" CallWhen I watched the replay, I didn't really think it was in question that his knee was down. And boy was that a tough pill to swallow, considering how loud and obnoxious I was during the fumble return. When they made the ruling, the frogs in the room went ape [deleted]
Re: Dalton "No Fumble" Call
Wait, you can leave the stadium at half and get back in? Derail the Frogs!
Re: Dalton "No Fumble" CallYes. You can leave their stadium at any time, not just half time, and get back in. No problem. SMU's first president, Robert S. Hyer, selected Harvard Crimson and Yale Blue as SMU's colors to symbolize SMU's high academic standards. We are one of the few Universities to have school colors with real meaning...and we just blow them off.
