42 First Downs 664 Total Yard LOSERS!

Postby Stallion » Mon Oct 05, 2009 1:46 pm

was this game on TV I'd love to see how Houston blew this game.

oh lookie there, Miners had zero fumbles, zero interceptions and zero sacks allowed. UH only had two turnovers but it looks like one was pretty important-a late fumble recovery returned for 70 yard TD-maybe a 14 point late swing.

area of concern for us in that story is that UTEP rushed for 305 yards vs the Cougars. Seeing that, and the turnover issue, and UH suddenly doesnt sound as vulnerable.

According to "rule makers" you are not allowed to comment on games that you didn't see from start to finish because what the fans at the sun bowl saw may differ from your analysis.

I'm just trying to help you out.

I noticed UH's MLB Matt Nicholson was injured-and out for the year after suffering an injury late in TT game. He must be Mike Singletary because he leaves and Donald Buchram runs for 262 yards. Geez what a collapse

CAN'T THROW THE BALL IN THE RAIN:

To his credit-June Jones doesn't allow this excuse-probably because he knows that it is going to rain the future too. But I notice that UTEP and UH fans are talking about the rainstrom (remnants of Huricane Olaf) during the game. QBs combined for 70-106(67%) for 812 yards and ZERO Ints.

But clearly Bo, can't throw in the rain very well. I was at the Navy game (and true there was also 40 mph wind gusts), but his passes looked like shot geese. And from what I saw at the TCU game, he was missing badly in this case overthrowing receivers by 10-20 yards.
UNC better keep that Ram away from Peruna

Four true freshmen on the two deep DL. Shawnbrey will be licking his chops at the possibilities. If BLM can hold his own, it will be a very competitive game. It's a home game and UH hasn't lost a home game in the last two years.

UH at Miss State this weekend. I imagine MSU will show up with a good running game.

how exactly did that happen. I mean I knew that UH was weak on defense but how did they get in a situation that 4 true Freshman are starting on DLine(OK you said 2 Deep) . Injuries, players quitting, or just freshman taking over starting roles? Better question how come Okie St.-reputed to one of the strongest running teams in Southwest not run all over them. There must have been changes in lineup.

i wonder what effect the glove he wears on his throwing hand impacts him in bad weather...

The one Houston fan I know said they were very full of themselves and looking ahead. But then, he is a pompous jack@$$
At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

Announcers said he was not wearing a glove, at least not on his throwing hand.

According to Coogfans, why the DL did so poorly....

1. Price ran unbalanced line then had the running back read the LB and cut away from them to gain huge numbers.
2. Our starting LB and team captain is out for the year and we are rotating 2 true freshman.
3. It seems that we are pretty un-talented or so the coaching staff believe at dline. Thus the freshman influx at Dline.

There are only four defensive linemen left from the Briles' and only one (Isaiah Thompson) has only lettered. One of the freshman linemen is a walk-on. We've only committed one defensive tackle this year.

ECU and Navy. Would you consider either of them to be a "must win", or just wait until conference gets going (ex, ECU) for "must wins"?
