there was barely any wind at all.

There was hardly any wind the entire game. I don't even think it was really raining when that first pick happened. I can only assume he had it in his mind to throw it away and threw a terrible ball.
But for the record, there was a receiver within 10 yards. Wilkerson was headed towards that sideline on a crossing route (maybe 8-10 yards from the line of scrimmage) between the TCU player and Bo, but there was no way Bo was throwing to him. If he had been, BLM would have thrown across his body, which he was clearly not doing.
At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

I think all those contibuted to a poor performance, not the least of which was one of the best defenses in nation. At this point I don't believe that JJ has a second option yet. I was disappointed in Bo's perfromance, but he is the only "horse" in the stable for the moment, maybe when he get his weight back, and a dry field he might get his confidence back if we give him some slack...what other choice do we have?
I was there. There isn't a rainstorm strong enough to justify either of those throws. Minor accuracy issues and dropped passes are attributable to rain. Blatant no-brainers have no weather-based explanation unless he gets depressed when the Sun goes away. Those picks were awful.
Agreed. I was there as well and the weather is no excuse. Pretty sure that horrible pick was in the 2nd half when it was drizzling on and off. Wind? C'mon man. If this was the Navy game last year I would agree with your statement. Not to mention, Dalton seemed to have no problems throwing. Bo simply can't make the throws.

Yep, section T. For the whole game. They may have been some wind in pre-game, I wasn't there for pre-game. But there wasn't anything above a negligible amount of wind once the game started.

How many of you on this thread have played QB at the high school, college are pro level? Interceptions are part of the game. Is Brett Favre a good QB? Not according to you guys. He throws way too many interceptions. Yes, we do need to cut down on the int's and that will happen but we need to support whoever is playing since they are not professional players and doing the best they can. That is all we can ask of a player. The coach would play someone else if he thought they could do better. A QB has to stay positive, especially when he is young and learning to play the position, and you guys aren't helping the process. You can either be part of the solution with positive vibes or remain part of the problem with negativity as you and those before you have done for the past 25 years. What is it gonna be? Wallow in self pity or get off your butts and offer positive encouragement to the players and coaches to get this program and university where we want it to be.

Are you kidding me? You are comparing BLM's performance to Farvre's? Favre, although amazingly overrated, won a lot of games. BLM has lost of lost of games. BLM is not Favre. BLM is like Romo only much worse. Also, I sat high up on the 40 yard line, and there was little wind. Maybe it was on the field, but it certainly didn't seem that way.

JaMarcus Russell throws a lot of picks. Are you saying the he's not an elite QB at the pro level? Oh wait. He's the worst starting QB in the league on a winless team.

where do you people come from? Sure is nice to see SMU getting all these new fans or athletic dept employees. We sure need the manpower in either case.

Stallion, I was there the whole game...but, again you didn't answer the question, just more name calling!
To be fair, I sat with three people that attended the game, two agreed with me about the wind, the third said he didn't notice it at all, maybe it depended where your were.
At lunch today June did say that the weather should not have been a factor, both teams had to handle the same wet ball. He did say the first two series our offensive line simply went "brain dead" and missed their assignments, mental errors--the worst of the season, as a result Bo huried his throws the entire game, even when the line began performing.

I agree with a fair amount of what you say. On another note, how's Katy's season going?

This is a very good point, which brings up another very good point: Isn't Ryan Leaf eligible for the NFL Hall of fame by now? If throwing a ton of picks is a sign of a good QB, Leaf is a shoe in. -CoS

You are way off base. The players should stay off this board. As fans, it is not our responsibility to help the QB throw to our players. And even though criticizing individual players is not my cup of tea, I certainly recognize the right of others to do so, and this is the place for it. Venting frustration on this board has zero effect on what goes on out on the field on Saturdays.
I'd kill for a Nobel Peace Prize.
