BM & AR?

Postby couch 'em » Mon Oct 05, 2009 8:46 am

Is there something going on between Mitchell and Robinson? In the WSU game the announcers commented over and over about Mitchell not throwing to a wide-open AR.

At the TCU game (as I shivered wet and cold) I noticed AR get ignored wide open or in poor single coverage over and over again. On at least one occasion AR walked off the field visibly angry at being ignored. Anyone have any insight? Just more BM incompetence or is there more to the story?

My best guess is just the fact that BLM doesn't typically make reads. AR is probably not the primary target very often, so he never gets thrown at.

Maybe our receivers need to wear numbers with flashing lights.

Speed. Last year Robinson made his biggest plays by simply ourrunning DBs. This year due to injuries I don't think he's able to do that.

AR is not the only wide open WR not getting the ball. :(
