I have read some of the posts back and forth about the new horses. Quite frankly I don't have a strong feeling either way right now. However, please spend a few bucks and hire a professional production crew and do this game intro. right, especially with Boone, Roger, et. al. there.

I don't think we have had a good one since we moved to Ford. I went to the recent Clark HS game here to check out our recruit Hayden and even my wife said this intro. and half-time is better than SMU. I couldn't disagree with her. Please Orsini get this one right. By the way, Hayden looked good again and I am excited he is heading our way.

And that is what has frustrated me for the past several years: the inability to execute our ideas. The Mustang Maniac; third down thunder, Mighty Mustang Thunder; First Down SMU MUstangs!; Don't stop Bo-levin'; Pony Up (the song); the kiss cam. We execute the gameday presentation poorly from beginning to end.

That is why I have little confidence in the horse. They are going to play Wildfire and it is going to suck. The horse is going to come out of the tunnel (is this why we didn't have the helmet against SFA?), once it is on the field, it is not going to do anything. It isn't well thought out and it isn't going to work.

The entire gameday presentation needs a complete workover.

Gameday presentation is downright cringe-worthy. I see some of these teenage YouTubers that can put together montages and songs with great expertise. Hire one of these dudes for 20% over minimum wage. Sounds like TCU's gameday is light years ahead.

It was very good. We don't have everybody on the same page. Obviously, it is not important or it would not be so slipshod.

And I think it is more important than the powers to be realize. Perception can be everything. We really should think about more emphasis here. It would not take much funding/work, but we should at least be high school level which we are not.
