I understand the thinking, but walking out on our team is never acceptable.
For clarification -- the idea was to leave before the ceremony and return when it was finished or before the second half started. And if it's rude to Pickens and his wife, do we not feel a little put out because we are taking the impression that they impressing this movement on us whether we like it or not? Do we not thingk Booing is just as rude? Just sayin... I know we want to do the right thing to make our voices heard and do it respectfully. If people have better suggestions like Bergermeister's T-shirt idea or something else, then go with it...

I wish you would actually walk out and never come back!
All you do is complain.
Why spend so much time on something you have such little trust in?
You don't like the coach.
You don't like the AD.
You don't like the offense.
You are actually asking people to walk out of an SMU Football Game over a horse.
You don't like decisions being made.
If I was that pissed and unhappy with a hobby I'd find a new hobby.

Insane -- the leader of the militant sunshiner brigade. I told you earlier you didn't have to read my stuff. You made the choice to read it.

Don't boo or leave. Just chant Peruna when the new ones are introduced.
I'd kill for a Nobel Peace Prize.

Michael Martin Murphy singing "Wildfire" will really impress those recruits and the under 30 alums!!

I wasn't the one who started a post on Saturday and told the qb to F himself. Just reminding you of that.

Sorry George but those who love the Boulevard more than college football have already started this tradition. For years here at SMU half the stadium leaves at halftime to never return, so your impact should be minimal at best.

President Hyer didn't choose Peruna the Shetland, he was accepted as a gift. The only difference is we have someone smart enough to give us a gift that actually fits the name this time around. Mustangs.

Don't BOO! If you want a ceremonial show of support then how about everybody follow Peruna into the Stadium as the Parade goes down the Boulevard. Maybe Chant Peruna-so every body can hear your support. Might actually get everyone in their seats on time and make a Statement of who our Mascot is.
