That is true. Only Ford Mustangs allowed.

Ford is bringing out a new version of the Mustang. It will be called the Gelding. No motor- you get to pedal. Wow- what gas mileage.

Funny story. My sophomore year my dad calls up to say he bought a new car, and that it would be perfect fit for me to have at SMU. And I was quite increduluous and said, "You bought a BMW?? A Mercedes?" Mind you, I did not come from a family that could afford a BMW or Mercedes, and could not figure out what he could possibly be talking about.

Of course, it was a slightly "pre-owned" 1990 Mustang convertible. Man I loved driving that car. And since there weren't many people from Kansas asking for SMU-related custom license plates, mine was officially an SMU Mustang. Still have that plate on the wall of the memorabilia room.
