We know what they are. We eat them with seafood. Of course, knowing that your style of barbecue uses vinegar sauce, they might go well with that.
Re: ECU MENUI have never heard of hush puppies with barbecue. In Texas we eat them with fried seafood. Carolina barbecue is pretty good especially pulled pork covered in cold slaw but it is still a second choice to real Texas pit barbecue.
