First SMU game....EPIC

I just transferred to SMU and have been unable to make it to any game before tonight. I must say....AWESOME FIRST GAME!!!!

I would like to give props to the student section. Small, due to fall break, but very strong. It really brought a sense of community to the SMU experience when, even after the varsity song, we all stuck around. We were there until the team walked off the field. That means it was more important to for all of us to show our support for the team than it was to be the first at the Saturday night bars. Impressive.

I am very proud to be a pony!!!!

Glad to hear you had a great time. I went to SMU for 6 years (3 for undergrad, 3 for law school) and never missed a game. After seeing the foundation being laid during last season, I was excited about going this year. However, work has brought me to London so I haven't been able to go. I spoke to many friends that went last night and they siad the student section had never been as cohesive and solid as a cheering unit during our years as students. Keep up the support for the team!
