TCU suffers from not being a BSC school. No doubt if TCU were a BSC school, TCU would move up in the rankings. All TCU has to do is keep winning.

They barely beat a very mediocre Air Force team. They've got at leas two losses coming their way.
Back off Warchild seriously.

The drop was due to them barely beating Air Force. TCU's strength of Schedule is not good. Clemson is 2-3 and Virginia is 2-3 and they are the only BCS schools TCU has played.

While all that may be true, I would be willing to wager that if TCU were in a BCS conference they would not have dropped in the rankings.

If TCU were in a BCS conference they would have played some better teams in their conference by now and would have had a minimum of 1 loss.

TCU is overrated and will lose soon. I say vs. Utah.

The score vs. us was lopsided in the end but they aren't going to face many teams who give them the type of starting field position we gave them.

Field position in that game was as follows:

1. short kickoff/punt leading to tcu starting on their own 40 yrd line or better

2. Kerley running kick/punt back into SMU territory or for TD

3. our punt return man fumbling on our 10 yrd line after a big Defensive stop.

They are not impressive to me with regards to BCS.

I was there, it was crazy cold. 18 degrees. We had three turnovers, two inside our own 10 yard line. It wasn't pretty, but a win is a win, and I'll take 12 of em and let the chips fall where they may. Congrats on your win as well!!

I watched that game. It was not as close as the score indicated. Air Force scored a junk Td and like you said, TCU squandered some opportunities on a fluke TO.

Anytime a team has a D that solid they should be highly ranked. I am so tired of these perceived rankings based on what someone thinks will happen. OU should not be in the top 25 with two losses.....not saying they aren't talented, but with two losses at this stage in the season and no quality wins, they should be out.

Ohio St has no quality wins.....they too should be out of the top ten.

UT just dropped for beating CU in less than impressive fashion.

What about Cincinnati? BCS conference, but they haven't played any BCS teams of note. Their only game against a top-25 teams is next week at South Florida. Ultimately, it won't matter how good TCU or Boise State are, they will not have an opportunity to play for the national title, no matter how good they are now, or may yet become. The same will be true for SMU if we ever have similar records. Heck, we could schedule and beat each successive #1 team for our non-conference games, and they still would not rank us #1 or #2.

At least if we keep winning it will actually help TCU.
