I don't recall seeing a replay of Aldrick's long TD, and why don't we show replays of plays that are being reviewed? (ie, the last touchdown with 5 minutes to go)

Does anyone know if there's an NCAA rule banning in-stadium replays of plays that are under review? TCU did a great job of showing replays last week, but when it came to a play under review (including the one that took 20 mins to review), the replays were nowhere to be found. Makes me think there's some rule against it...

Under NCAA rule you can't show a replay of a play the is under review.

This drove me crazy. I was having flashbacks to the Scoops Callahan interview with Phil Mickelson.

Good idea. Just turn her microphone OFF. She screeches.

Just for the Record General..we have NEVER had "BeBop" played at Ford stadium, and probably never will.

Totally agree! I understand that challenged plays can't be shown, but show the damn TD's!! How hard is this? Also, what is the deal with the video board? That looked like something more than a few pixels out. The team has been gone over a month and that can't be fixed?

No replays of the 96 yd TD and the blocked kick return is totally inexcusable...they will sit there and run almost every mundane play over but won't show two of the biggest ones?

Reasoning? Did the exciting plays happen at the same time they had to plug the Plumber sponsor?

I think the problem is they need someone that understands football overseeing the game day production, I think whoever is in charge has no clue.

Could not agree with you more. My buddy and I kept look at each other after the 96 yard touch down wondering if we had missed the reply. You need to show that about 5 or six times. It tied a school records for pete's sake.

I kept waiting for the replays and never saw them either. We had plenty of big plays that they could have shown over and over, but instead they showed the live camera with no action going on on the field.

I guess I don't mind the constant music in between plays but can they get something besides the ESPN Jock Jams CD from like 1996?

Oh, and the kiss cam right before a 4th and goal??? Come on! I don't care if it is sponsored. Play it at a different time when nothing is going on, maybe after a meaningless change of possession during a media timeout.

I agree.

So what gets played more often: Boomer Sooner during an Oklahoma game or My City during an SMU game?

Prediction.....

SMU is going to rue the day they had an open mic on the crowd......Much much mischief could occur.
